Abstract:
This independent study presents investors behaviour on climate change by applying the climate change indicators for the Capital Asset Pricing Model to examine change in returns. We collect various climatic data from the valid source to ensure that our model cover all possible issues in investors perspective: Carbon dioxide emission, global mean temperature, sea level, and sea ice extent. The return of some economic sector with large green house effect gas emission and companies that produce electricity with high Carbon dioxide emission will be in a scope of this study. The result of all test demonstrates that there might be no concerns about climate change in a group of investors who own common stocks in such companies or economic sector
