Abstract:
The objectives of were to study: 1) the factor analysis of the digital capability of teachers and educational personnel in Saraburi province, and 2) propose to enhance the digital capability of teachers and educational personnels in Saraburi province.
The sample group of this research, selected using stratified random sampling, consisted of 367 teachers and educational personnels in Saraburi province. The research instrument was a 5 points Likert scale questionnaire (reliability = 0.92). The data were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Principal Components Analysis (PCA) with orthogonal varimax rotation.
The research results revealed that 1) the digital capability of teachers and education personnel in Saraburi province included six components: (1) participation in digital technology, (2) application of digital technology, (3) understanding digital technology, (4) compliance with digital technology laws, (5) construction of digital technology network, and (6) driving digital technology. The digital capability of teachers and education personnel in Saraburi province could be explained by all components at 77.098%, and 2) propose guidelines to enhance the digital capability of teachers and educational personnel that: (1) training to develop to digital capability and law of digital technology for teachers and educational personnel to applied in teaching and learning, (2) establish community of professional learning, (3) motivation to develop of digital capability, and (4) prototyping teacher and educational personnel for applying new innovations in teaching and learning.
