Abstract:
This objectives of this research were to study the quality of the work life of supporting staff at Thammasat University, Rangsit campus and to compare the quality of work life of supporting staff at Thammasat University, Rangsit campus classified by type of staff and income. The sample used in this was 322 supporting staff at Thammasat University, Rangsit campus stratified according to the type of staff. The tool for the data collection was the 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with the reliability at .89. The statistics used for the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.The research results were found that:1.The overall supporting staff at Thammasat university, Rangsit campus had the quality of the work life at the medium level. Considering each aspect found that the highest average was the aspect of social relation. Next were the aspect of organization pride, the aspect of total life space, the aspect of staff potential development, the aspect of growth and security, the aspect of safe working condition, the aspect of management characteristic, respectively. The lowest average was the aspect of adequate and fair compensation.2.The data comparisons of the quality of the work life of the supporting staff at Thammasat university, Rangsit campus found that the overall staff did not have the different opinions. Considering according to staff types and incomes found that the staff from different types did not have the difference in the quality of the work life and also the staff having different income did not have the difference in the quality of the work life.
