Abstract:
Objective of this research is to study the market analysis of Ang Sila Animal Hospital,
which is a combination between quantitative and qualitative research. The results of this research can
be modified to be a guideline for business of animal hospitals and able to meet the needs of consumers,
who have animals in this moment. Based on the basis from the Thai Pet Products Industry Association
And Kasikorn Research Center, the sampling size was chosen as 400 people, who had received services
or services in Ang Sila Animal Hospital, Muang District, Chonburi Province. The questionnaire was
used to collect data, which is used analysed and presented in term of statistics (frequency, percentage
and average) by using Independent Samples F-Test, One-way analysis of variance and Least Square
Difference (LSD).
The results showed that most respondents were female. Majority of respondents aged
between 20-29 years old. Most of them had Bachelor's degree with single status. They were mainly
company employees and average income was 20,001-30,000 Baht/month. The respondents mainly had
1-2 pets and most of them were dogs. The main objectives of having animals are to look after their
houses. The main reason to choose animal hospitals is because of veterinarians and the animal types.
The frequency of service usageis 3-4 times/month. Average cost per is around 401-600 baht/time/ pet.
Owners usually to use the service on Saturday-Sunday especially between 16.01-20.00. The
majorreasons to use the services of animal hospital are receiving general treatment services, extra
services about equipment-animal feed and other extra services. Service users pay more attention to the
human, location, process, service, prices and physical aspects of the organization, marketing promotion
and products respectively, with statistical significance at 0.05. Therefore, the results of the study support
to understand the individual factors, behavior and mixing marketing to the various services of the animal
hospital and the analyzed results can be applied to develop the varieties of services as well as being a
guideline in the business of Ang Sila Animal Hospital.
