Abstract:
The study on effect of paraquat to Salvinia cucullata Roxb.ex Bory control and effect of growth and
Poecilia reticulata survival on co-culture was designed by completely randomized design. Four treatments (3
replications) of paraquat concentration are 0 (control), 0.19, 0.25 and 0.31 ppm respectively. Each paraquat
treatments were sprayed on natural Salvinia leaf that cultured with guppy in basin that had natural cray for
10 days. The result showed that the leaf colour of Salvinia turned to be brown, more spread area for tirals
period and more dried leaf in the end of the experiment. Paraquat was 0.25 ppm that show high
performance to Salvinia control at 91.66±1.27 percent and show high significant difference than control group
and group that was sprayed with 0.19 ppm paraquat (p>0.05). All treatment groups were not significantly
different of guppy for average length, average weight, and survival rate. (p>0.05)
