Abstract:
The objectives of this independent study are 1) to study the personal factors that affect work efficiency of employees of Thailand Post Company Limited, 2) to study organizational culture that affect work efficiency of employees of Thailand Post Company Limited and 3) to study quality of work life that affect work efficiency of employees of Thailand Post Company Limited.
The samples used in this study are 312 employees of Thailand Post Company Limited in support team. The data were collected by questionnaire. The statistical methods used to analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypotheses were tested by multiple regression analysis.
According to study, it was found as follow. Firstly, for personal factors, gender did not affect work efficiency, while age, status, educational level, salary, and work experience affected work efficiency at the significance level of 0.05. Secondly, organizational culture, in determining the direction (X[subscript3]),affected work efficiency the most in an overview, followed by conflict tolerance (X[subscript9]), control (X[subscript6]), communication patterns (X[subscript10]), reward system (X[subscript8]), individual initiative (X[subscript1]), risk tolerance (X[subscript2]), management support (X[subscript5]), identity (X[subscript7]), integration (X[subscript4]),respectively at the significance level of 0.05. The multiple correlation coefficient was (R) = 0.928. Thirdly, the quality of work life in social relevance (X[subscript18]) affected the work efficiency the most in an overview, followed by adequate and fair compensation (X[subscript11]), social integration (X[subscript13]), safe and healthy working conditions (X[subscript16]), employee rights (X[subscript14]), work and total life space (X[subscript15]), opportunity for continued growth and security (X[subscript17]), opportunity for developing and using human capacity (X[subscript12]),respectively at the significance level of 0.05. The multiple correlation coefficient was (R) = 0.928.
