Abstract:
This research aimed at identifying staffs opinions towards the way of development of
healthy organization in Chonburi Public Health Office, as well as comparing their opinions in this
regard as classified according to work experience and personnel type. It is a quantitative research
of which the samples used were 130 public health staffs in Chonburi Public Health Office.
Questionnaires on their opinions were employed for the data collections, whereas frequency
value, percentage, average score, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and LSD pair
difference testing at the significant value of 0.05 were used as the statistics for this researchs data
analyses.
The findings revealed that the samples were women with the average ages between
31-40 years old, holding a bachelor degree or equivalence, and working as government officers
with an average work experience between 5-10 years. Regarding their opinions towards the way
of development of healthy organization, they were rated, as a whole, at high level ( = 3.40).
When considering aspect by aspect, it was found that there were five aspects having average
scores at the high level ranking from more to less as follows: executives ( = 3.62),
organization structure ( = 3.61), staffs participations ( = 3.49), communication ( = 3.43),
and responsible persons ( = 3.41), respectively, while the other two aspects having average
scores at the medium level ranking from more to less as follows: knowledge imparting ( =
3.22), and evaluation ( = 3.17), respectively. Regarding the hypotheses testing, it was found that
in spite of their differences in terms of personal factors like sex, age, educational level, work
experience, and employment type, their opinions towards the way of development of healthy
organization in Chonburi Public Health Office were not different.
