The Effect of Quality of Work life And Organizational Climate on Organizational Commitment of Siam Commercial Bamks Employees in Nakhonchaiburin Province
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of quality of work life and organizational climate on organizational commitment of Siam Commercial Banks employees in Nakhonchaiburin provinces. The samples group consists of 300 Siam Commercial Banks employees in Nakhonchaiburin provinces, which includes Nakhonratchasima province, Chaiyaphum province, Buriram Province, and Surin Province. The respondents were managers, assistant managers, and teller who work for the bank at least 1 year. The data collection tool was questionnaire. With regarding data analysis, Descriptive statistic was employed such as percentage, standard deviation, and inference statistics. The hypotheses were tested by multiple regressions analysis. The result of this research indicated that quality of work life (i.e., adequate and fair compensation aspect and growth and security aspect) and organizational climate effect (i.e., organizational structure, challenge and responsibility and organizational support) had effect on organizational commitment aspect significantly. Moreover, the both factors (i.e., organizational climate and quality of work life) can predict organizational commitment effect of the Nakhonchaiburin province efficiently (R2 = 0.829).
