Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to: 1) develop learning in topic of cell and cell structure to enhancing students scientific skills for secondary 1 (grade 7) students to meet the efficiency criterion of 80/80, 2) compare academic achievement scores, 3) study scientific skills and 4) evaluate students satisfaction towards the learning application.
The samples included 30 students chosen by lottery method of simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of learning application, evaluation forms on media and content, achievement test, scientific skills assessment, and students satisfaction form. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation, and dependent t-test.
The research results showed that: 1) the quality of media and content of the learning application was at a very good level with an average score of 4.74 and 4.58, respectively, 2) the learners learning achievement was higher at the statistically significant difference level of .05, 3) students scientific skills higher with at the average of 7.50/17.40, and 4) the students were satisfied with the learning application at the level of 4.60.
