Abstract:
This study focused on the improvement of laterite from Nakhon Pathom
Province using the residual of weave polyester. The laterite was mixes with polyester
Waste 1.2 * 3.8 with proportion of 1:0, 1:2, 1:4, 1:6. 1:8repectively. Beside, the polyester
fiber was prolonged to 2, 4, 6 and 8 centimeters. The physical and engineering properties
were conducted namely, maximum density, humidity and penneabili'ty.
The results revealed that both the amount of fiber and lengths were not
affected on the maximum density and humidity. The maximum density ranged from 1.91
to, 2.14 g/cc. The lengths of fiber were found to be influenced on penneability, the more
the fiber, the better the penneability.
