Abstract:
Studies show that creativity affects academic achievement. This study aims to
investigate the possibility between students perceived creativity and academic
achievement. This quantitative study surveyed a total of 311 students from three
international parochial high schools in Thailand. The sample consisted of 152 male
students and 159 female students aged between 15-19 years old. Students perception
of their creativity was measured using Dr. Kumar & Dr. Holmans questionnaire. The
cumulative grade point average (GPA) was the standard used to evaluate their
academic achievement. The findings show that the perceived creativity of students
studying in the international schools reported a moderate level of values in Relevant
skills/relevant process. Relationship between creativity dimensions and academic

achievement are essentially zero, except for self-regulation and the correlation among
the creativity dimensions are generally moderate.
