Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1. to study the operation of the care system to support students in the opportunity school under Bangkok Metropolis, 2. to compare opinions of administrators and teachers that classified by school size which was operated the system to help students in schools expanding educational opportunities under Bangkok Metropolis. The sampling were 160 administrators and teachers in schools. Questionnaires were applied for collecting data. Moreover, distribution of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were applied for statistical analysis. The results of the research were as follows: the operation according to the student support system of the Opportunity Expansion School under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was at a high level in all aspects. Student screening was needed the highest followed by knowing each student individually and student promotion and development, prevention and student support respectively. However, the least agreed aspect was student transfer. Comparison between the opinions of the school administrators and the size of the school on the operation of the student support system found that there was no differences.
