Abstract:
Purposes of this research were; 1) to study the development needs on classroom action research of teachers in schools under the Office of Samutprakarn Primary Educational Service Area One, and 2) to compare the development needs on classroom action research of teachers in schools under the Office of Samutprakarn Primary Educational Service Area One according to their education level, teaching experience, and research training. Data were collected from 318 teachers in schools under the Office of Samutprakarn Primary Educational Service Area One during the academic year of 2560 through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation. Comparison of their needs on education level, and research training were tested by t-test, while one-way ANOVA test was used when comparing their teaching experiences. When a difference was found, a Sheffies test was applied.
Research findings were as follows 1) the development needs on classroom action research of teachers in schools under the Office of Samutprakarn Primary Educational Service Area One in overall was at the more high level. If considering each aspect, data showed that they were at the more level in all aspects, by which the classroom action research aspect had the highest score while the classroom action research had the lowest score; 2) When comparing the needs according to their education levels, and teaching experiences both overall and each aspect, data showed that they was no statistically significant different. However, when comparing teachers needs, according to their classroom action research training, data showed that they were statistically significant different at the 0.05 level both overall and the foundation knowledge on classroom action research aspect, the classroom action research consumption aspect, and the classroom action research distribution aspect. The classroom action research promotion and monitoring aspect showed no statistically significant different.
