Abstract:
This research study with objectives 1) to study the level of people participation and the operation of health consumer protection in Nakhon Si Thammarat province 2) to study the relationship between internal factors variables of people participation and health consumer protection operations in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, and 3) to analysis study of predictive variables, variables, components of people participation that influence the health consumer protection performance in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The researcher conducted the research according to the quantitative research methodology by using a research questionnaire to collect data with 388 people and samples from the calculations based on the formula of Taro Yamane (1973) and then analyze the data with the program and according to the qualitative research methodology by using in-depth interviews with 15 key informants.
The results of the study showed that the level of opinion of the sample groups on people participation and health consumer protection in Nakhon Si Thammarat province found that the participation of people was at a high level (X= 3.44) and consumer health protection at the high level (X= 3.53). As for the results of the analysis of the relationship between the internal components and the participation of the people, all variables have the same direction. Statistically significant .01, where the relationship between r = .324 - .525, which all internal variables can be explained together and the analysis of the relationship between the internal components of the Health Consumer Protection (HCP) found that all variables are in the same direction that with the statistical significance of .01 with the relationship between r = .369 - .560, which all internal variables can be explained together, and the results of the analysis of the predictive variables, the variables of the People Participation (PP) that influence the health consumer protection (HCP) classified by the variables, found that all variables Influential or related With statistical significance at the level of 0.05, in which the Public Information participation variable has a relationship with Beta = .041, Public Consultation variable has a relationship with Beta = .066, the Conference variable Public Meeting had Beta = .081 and Decision Making variables had Beta = .257..
