Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop the curriculum to enhance Thai Reading
Skill by Using Brain-Based Learning for Grade 1 Students. 2) to study the result of using the
curriculum by comparing score achievement between before and after using the curriculum. The
samples chosen by purposive sampling method were 13 students in the first grade of Sobpadwittaya
School. The research tools were the curriculum to enhance Thai Reading Skill by Using Brain
Based Learning for Grade 1 Students and Thai reading skill tests for Grade 1 students. The data
analyses were mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test dependent.
The results found that
1) The curriculum consists in curriculum
principle, objectives, structure, contents,
activities and assessment and evaluation, and curriculum documents consist in teacher's guide and
teaching plans. Both the curriculum validity and the curriculum documents were approved before
the implementation.
2) The students' posttest scores were statically higher than pretest scores at the level of
0.05
