Status, Problems and Needs of Using Internet Network Systems of Undergraduate Students at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi Suphanburi Campus
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to investigate status, problems and needs of using internet
network system of undergraduate students at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi,
Suphanburi campus and to compare the problems of using internet network system. The subjects of
this study were 338 undergraduate students. Questionnaire was used to collect data needed.
Percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance were employed to
analyze the data using Statistical Package for the Social Science. Five areas of problems including
the Internet network system, computer hardware, software, personal, and the internet service centers
were investigated. The findings revealed that the problems of each area was in the moderate level.
The mean of each problem area was 3.23, 3.18, 3.16, 3.13 and 3.08 respectively. With respect to
students backgrounds, the results revealed that there was a significant different in students
viewpoints of problems using the internet network system at the level .05. In addition, the
comparison of opinions of students from each pair of institutes yielded a significantly difference in
the areas of the internet network system, software, and internet service centers at the level of .05.
