The Study of Status, Problems and Need, in the Teaching - Learning Process of the Computer Teachers in the Primary School, in the Office of Educational Area in Ratchaburi
Abstract:
The research objectives were to study and compare The Study of Status, Problems and Need, in the
Teaching - Learning Process of the Computer Teachers in the Primary School, in the Office of
Educational Area in Ratchaburi. The information was gathered by the questionnaires. The sample
275 was computer teachers. Data were analyzed in the forms of percentage, mean, standard
deviation, t-test and f-test.
The result revealed that the age of the teachers who tough the computer were more than 45 years
and they did not graduate in the major of computer but they educated in business administration,
science, sport and etc. They had computer experience for 1-5 years, they studide the knowledge by
themselves. The problems of learning process reveled there was at least one computer room in the
school with at least 10 computers that can use and one computer per three and more student. Bach
school had only one computer teacher and the program used were Microsoft program such as Word,
Excel and Power Point. The activities emphasized to practice the skill used the DVD, CD and VeD
in the class. Except the time class, student can use the computer too.
The learning process problem was in the middle level and the needs of learning process was in the
high level. The results of problems, and needs comparison, were different in gender, age, education,
field of study and teaching experience.
