The Comparison of Residence Satisfaction Living in Public Projects, The Case Study about Barn Aer-Arthon Prachaniwet Projects with Kahachumchon Laksi Projects
Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to compare residences satisfaction between Barn Aer-Arthon Prachaniwet and Kahachumchon Laksi
projects in the following domains: living condition, economy, society, and public facility and utility system. The data is collected from
residences using questionnaire survey. The results indicate that the characteristic of tenancy between the projects is the same, i.e., buying
is preferred to renting. Concerning the family income and the rate of installment, the tenants of Kahachumchon Laksi projects have higher
family income and pay higher rate of installment than the tenants of Barn Aer-Arthon Prachaniwet projects. Concerning the occupation
and education, most of the tenants in Kahachumchon Laksi projects are private companys employee and have bachelors degree. For
the tenants of the Barn Aer-Arthon Prachaniwet projects, most of them are earning salaries with the education at high school. Concerning
the relationship between the house and the office together with the duration of transportation, the tenants in Barn Aer-Arthon Prachaniwet
projects have their offices within the boundary areas. For the tenants of Kahachumchon Laksi projects, most of them have their offices
within the middle areas of Bangkok. The tenants in both projects spend 1-2 hours for their transportation. The number of tenants per
unit of both projects is approximately 2-3 persons. The satisfaction of the public facility and utility system of both projects is the same.
However, the satisfaction of the administration of both projects is not difference.
