Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop manual for classifying research results based on commerce potential of Rajamangala University of Technology during
B.E. 2543-2548. The 534 research items were chosen from the instructors of Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT), 9 institutes, as follows: Rajamangala
University of Technology Krungtep (RMUTK), Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-ok (RMUTTO), Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi
(RMUTT), Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (RMUTR), Rajamangala University
of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi (RMUTSB),
and Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI). Statistics utilized for data analysis were mean ( ), percentage (%) and content analysis.
The characteristics of the manual used in this research were as follows:
1) The following classification of the research based on the commerce potential were research patent, technology transfer for enterprises, research utilizations for
business plans, applications research for commerce, and research utilizations for the National Economic and Social Development Plans. It was also found that according
to the commerce potential researches in general, most of RMUT researches were in the research utilizations for the National Economic and Social Development Plans as
well as the applications research for commerce which were 56.78% and 27.64% respectively. When each university was considered, it was found that RMUTL researches
were in the technology transfer for enterprises at 40%, RMUTTO researches were in the research utilizations for business plans at 30.43%, and the applications research
for commerce at 28.48%, RMUTT researches were in the research patent at 28.13%, and RMUTI researches were in the research utilizations for the National Economic
and Social Development Plans at 20.06%.
2) The researches based on the commerce potential were grouped as follows: the research and development innovation, the export promotion for industries, and the
research and development theme from the National Research Council of Thailand. In general, it was also found that 52.08% and 31.06% of RMUT researches were in
the research and development theme from the National Research Council of Thailand, and the research and development innovation respectively, while 16.86% of
researches were in the export promotion for industries. When each university was considered, it was found that RMUTTO researches were in the research and development
innovation (Food Technology Group) at 33.58%, the export promotion for industries groups (Food Industries Group) at 28.80%, and the research and development theme
from the National Research Council of Thailand (Agricultural and Biological Group) at 27.16%.
