Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine the phenolics content and antioxidant of Terminalia arjuna Roxb., Terminalia bellirica (Gaertn.) Roxb., Terminalia chebula Retz., Phyllanthus emblica L. and Jatuparathika recipe. The results showed that P. emblica L. extract was significantly highest in total phenolics content (P < 0.001) (0.081 ± 0.000 μg/ml GAE/100 μl sample), as well as antioxidant activity (366.233 ± 2.167 μg/ml AAC/500 μl sample). All extracts were significantly shifted in total phenolics content and antioxidant activity as well as color parameters and pH.
