Abstract:
This research aims to investigate the factors influencing project success on government contractible administration.
The 60 factors were comprehensively identified from contractors and owners. The data is gathered from owners
and contractors using questionnaire survey. Based on the response obtained through data collection, the factors were
then analyzed and ranked according to their severity index, a combination of impact level and occurrence frequency,
in order to determine the critical factors.
The results reveal that the overall perception of the respondents on the factors is statistically common. However, the factors
ranked high severity from each group were discussed. It is hoped that the critical factors identified in this survey would
be carefully managed from involved parties for better project management.
