Abstract:
Post-Tension slab has been introduced in construction industry for several years. However, due to the complexity of drawing for
the system, there are many difficulties which lead to cost overrun such as quality of construction work, accuracy for quantity
take-off. This research, therefore, aims to develop the program which supports user in preparing the document.
The AutoCAD program is added on by Visual Basic for Application and been tested in the design firms. The result reveals that the overall
development process of shop drawing is faster and the bill of quantity is more accurate. In addition, user can edit many parts of data and
save as digital file. The program decreases overall manpower and increase overall productivity for using the post-tension slab.
