The desirable characteristics of the administrators of teachers opinion in Wangsomboon district, under Sakeao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study desirable characteristics of school administrators in school based on teachers opinion in Wangsomboon district, under Sakeao Primary Educational Service Area office 1, 2) to compare the desirable characteristics of school administrators in school Wangsomboon district, under Sakeao Primary Educational Service Area office 1, as classified by Gender, Education level, and Experience of school teachers. The sample consisted of 148 teachers teaching in schools in Wangsomboon district, under Sakeao Primary Educational Service Area office 1. The data collection instrument was a set of five-scale questionnaire, The item discrimination power of the questionnaire was between .35 to .76, Reliability of instrument was at .97. The statistics used in analyzing the data in this study included Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test.
The results of the research were:
1. The desirable characteristics of school administrators based on teachers perspectives in Wangsomboon district, under Sakeao Primary Educational Service Area office 1 were rated at a high level.
2. The desirable characteristics of the administrators of teachers opinion in Wangsomboon district, under Sakeao Primary Educational Service Area office 1, as classified by Gender, Experience was found no significance, but Education level and Moral Ethics were found statistically significant difference at .05 level.
