Abstract:
The research aimed to study : 1) the situation leadership of the schools, 2) the efficient
performance of the teachers, and 3) the relationship between Situation leadership and efficient
performance of the teachers of Bang Khen District Office of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
The samples were 263 government teachers of Bang Khen District Office of Bangkok
Metropolitan Administration. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and
Pearson product - moment correlation coefficient.
The results revealed that 1) the situation leadership of the schools yielded at the high
level in all aspects ranging from achievement oriented, supportive, participative, and directive
leader respectively. 2) The efficient performance of the teachers was at the high level in all items
with the two highest level on teachers following the plan of executive policies, and their cooperative
work. In addition, the second efficiency of those teachers was on being assigned a task as their
competence while the least efficient was being promoted fairly. 3) The situation leadership related
with efficient performance of those teachers was statistically significant at 0.01 level.
