Administrative behavior of school administrators affecting student care and support systems in schools under Pathum Thani primary educational service area office 2
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study 1) the level of administrative behavior of school administrators in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 2) the level of student care and support systems operation in the schools, and 3) the administrative behavior of the school administrators affecting the operation of student care and support systems.
The sample group consisted of 300 class teachers selected by stratified random sampling, working in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in the academic year of 2017. The research instrument was a questionnaire constructed in accordance with Griffiths management behavior viewpoints; and the guidelines of the Office of Basic Education Commission for the operation of student care and support systems. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis were used in the data analysis.
The results of the research show that 1) the administrative behavior of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 were at a high level in overall and individual aspects, 2) the operation of student care and support systems in the schools were also highly rated, and 3) the administrative behavior of the school administrators on the aspects of creativity, assistance, social skills, cooperation, and trustworthiness affected the operation of student care and support systems with the predictive efficiency of 63% at a statistically significant level of 0.01
