Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to develop the training curriculum on Information Technology and Communication for students, Pathumwan Institute of Technology, and 2) to study the achievement of using this training curriculum.
The samples were 20 third year students (regular program), for the second semester of academic year 2017, Pathumwan Institute of Technology. The training duration was 15 hours. The test was a one group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument consisted of 1) three units of training curriculum on Information Technology and Communication for students, Pathumwan Institute of Technology, and 2) a pretest-posttest assessment. Data were analyzed by percentage, X̅ , S.D., and t-test.
The results revealed that 1) the training curriculum on Information Technology and Communication for students, Pathumwan Institute of Technology was highly appropriate (X̅ =4.74, S.D.=0.282) on the basis of 9 components including (1) concept, (2) principle, (3) objectives of curriculum, (4) content, (5) curriculum structure, (6) training curriculum duration, (7) training curriculum methodology, (8) training curriculum media, and (9) measurement and evaluation of the 15 hours training; and 2) the achievement of using this training curriculum was higher than before the training at a statistical significance the level of 0.05.
