Abstract:
The objectives of this study are to study factors that affect to morale and motivation of Provincial Electricity Authoritys employees in Phayao and find the recommendation to improve them. A sample of the study is 154 people who currently work in Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). Questionnaires were used to gather the information, and then they were analyzed in statistical, such as, frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Most of the people in this study were single men, lower than 30 years old, bachelors degrees, 1 4 years working experience and lower than 20,000 THB salary. The results showed that the most important factor of morale and motivation is the relationship with colleagues, follow by performance management, salary and benefits and relationship with supervisor respectively. The least important factor is an environment in workplace. Finally, the study recommended that administrators should set the evaluation performance system from the voice of employees. Moreover, morale and motivation can be improved by supporting the cooperation and solving problems together among workers."
