A Study of Quality Control Influencing Student Outcomes in Machine Shop Division on Pre and Post Procedure of Quality Assurance in Technical Colleges under the Vocational Education Commission.
Abstract:
Objectives of this research were to study quality control which influenced to student outcomes of pre- and post- procedure of quality assurance in technical colleges under the Vocational Education Commission. Population of sampling group was 335 teachers in Machine Shop Division from 41 institutes. Research tools were questionnaire. Statistics used to analyze was percentage, mean,
standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. Results of research were concluded as follows. Level of working in the pre- procedure of quality assurance was at a medium level (x=2.94,S.D.=0.66). The level of working in the post- procedure of quality assurance was also at the medium level (x=3.33, S.D.=O.78). The student outcomes in the pre- procedure of the quality
control was at the medium level (x=3.07, S.D. =0.63). The level of student outcomes in the postprocedure of quality assurance was at a high level (x=3.56, S.D. =0.67). Factors influenced to the student outcomes in the pre- procedure of quality assurance, which were the vocational learning measurement, were up to standard and the curriculum influenced to the cognitive, psychomotor and
affective domain. The instrument, equipment and machine for teaching and learning influenced to the cognitive and psychomotor domain. The relationships between schools and community influenced to the cognitive domain. The factors influenced to the student outcomes in the postprocedure of quality assurance which were the vocational learning measurement were up to
standard, the environment learning source and student activities influenced to the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain. The curriculum influenced to the cognitive and affective domain. An administration and management, the instrument, equipment and machine for teaching and learning and the teachers-instructors influenced to the psychomotor and affective domain. The
relationships between the schools and community influenced to the cognitive domain. The school philosophy and goal influenced to the psychomotor domain.
