Abstract:
The E-content development needs three necessary components: Knowledge, workflow of knowledge transfer and computer skill. But these components does not just stored in one person. So the E-content development consume more time. To avoid this situation if we have a user-friendly software and consume not much time which a knowledge owner can use it to build a fine e-content by themselves, its will be a one of great thing to growth e-learning in university.
That story forces this study to reach the two objectives. Firstly, to survey and find out a suitable software for knowledge owner to build a fine e-content by themselves. Secondly, to find out how an e-content affect the classroom when it is a replacement and a supplement for traditional classroom?
The result has three aspects. Firstly, in aspect of a software for build an Econtent, we found that commercial software is user-friendly more than Freeware software but if very expensive. If knowledge owner usually use MS PowerPoint to build a study guideline, Freeware software will suit for build a moderately E-content. If we usually use it we will automatic friendly with it.
Secondly, in aspect of student satisfaction, we found that the student very like two styles of E-content: sound with slide animation for lecture period and screen capture video with sound for laboratory period. Student also agrees with using an E-content as a supplement for classroom more than using it as a replacement.
Finally, is aspect of student examination score, we found that average score of all students from a lesson which they study from E-content higher than average score from studying only in traditional classroom. And Standard Deviation value from studying form E-content is lower than a value form studying only in traditional classroom. Especially, using E-content as a supplement take student get higher score than use it as a replacement.
