Abstract:
This researchs objective were 1. to study the golf players tourists behavior in Chiang Rai 2. to study the suitable marketing mix for the small golf course business in Chiang Rai and 3. to study the guide line for development of small golf course business in Chiang Rai. The populations and samplings were three small golf courts entrepreneurs and 89 golf foreigner players tourists. The data collection was used guideline question by inept-interview and questionnaire and the analytical was used the percentage, standard deviation
and mean.
The result of this study found that 1. the golf foreigner players tourists who stayed in Chiang Rai between Decembers to April and the most of tourists was the elderlies who were over 60 years old and using the golf court club 4 to 6 times per week and they chose the golf court club by the quality of the services and goods. 2. the suitable marketing mix for the small golf course business in Chiang Rai found that the overall level of marketing mix was high. For the each marketing mix determinant found that price was very high level, staff was high level, place was high level, public relation was high level, product was high level, process was high level, promotion was average level and the physical evidence is average level, respectively. And 3. the guide line for development of small golf course business in Chiang Rai found that the business should improve the bathroom rooms and locker rooms, the data information within the golf court and the Wi-Fi connection.
