Abstract:
This research used both quantitative and qualitative research. The purpose of the research were 1) to study the context and potential of Agrotourism in Rai Cherntawan International Meditation Center Huaysak, Muang District, Chiang Rai province. 2) to study tourists demand of Agrotourism in Rai Cherntawan International Meditation Center Huaysak, Muang District, Chiang Rai province. 3) to propose the promotion of Agrotourism in Rai Cherntawan International Meditation Center Huaysak, Muang District, Chiang Rai province. The results showed that the context of Rai Cherntawan began from general activities, meditation and the interest from tourists to visit. Rai Cherntawan was devided to Organic farming zone and Dhamma puzzle and meditation zone. Agrotourism of Rai Cherntawan was started with the promotion of Organic Farming Buddhist Way to farmers and those interested which had pattern from Rai Cherntawan and a year course Farmer student for the farmer who interest organic farming. The activeities are doing organic agricultural demonstration plot, Mushroom house, Vegetable rot, Waste superheating plant, Earthworm manure fertilizer and agricultural products shop. The evaluation of broad and officer about tourist attractions competency in Rai Cherntawan found that had a moderate potential. An attractiveness of tourism location had maximum potential while tourist attraction service had lowest potential. At the point of the experts, there were high potential. The maximum potential was attractiveness while the lowest potential was a support of tourist attraction. The demand of tourist from the element of 4As were 1) Attractions 2) Accessibilities 3) Amenities and 4) Activities, were found that the overall demand is high. The highest demand was Accessibilities, secondly was Activities, thirdly was Attractions and the last one was Amenities. Rai Cherntawans activities that tourists interested in highest level was meeting Phramaha Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi then visiting museum, Dhamma puzzle and visiting Farmer students activities. The ways to promote activities of agrotourism in Rai Cherntawan in the part of accessibilities are adding activities advertising broads in tourist attraction and important point in Chiang Rai, for example, the airport, bus terminal, Wat Rong Khun, Choui Fong Tea to increase the way of information giving of agrotourism and another way was public relations the activities by online media such as facebook, website which was updating the information and easy to access. In the part of activities, to add agricultural activities that general tourist can join, for example, keep the yield seasonal, receive primary information by Knowledgeable staff or farmer guide from farmer student network that availability to give knowledge and demonstration. Tourists or interested were connected between agrotourism activities and main activities of the center which was meditation such as adding meditation practice in the process of mushroom cultivation training. To promote of amenity were improving the signs, using both Thai language and foreign language to explain the meaning and significance of tourist attraction, making guide book, increase enough rest area and shady route, improving basic public utility such as toilet, path, signs in accord with agrotourism activities, training farmer student network or famer to built farmer guide for giving information and guiding the tourists. In the part of the attraction, should be link agrotourism with Rai Cherntawans activities, expand area of agrotourism activities and connect routes such as putting Buddhist art in the area of agrotourism activities or doing activities in dhamma puzzle area to connect agrotourism with spiritual tourism, planning to improve and develop the tourist attraction in Rai Cherntawan to be more beautiful all the tim"
