Abstract: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อสำรวจสถานภาพปัจจุบันของโรงแรมในการให้บริการ แก่นักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา 2) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการเลือกใช้บริการโรงแรม ของนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติที่มาพักแรมในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา 3) เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความคาดหวัง และความพึงพอใจในการใช้บริการโรงแรม ของนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติที่มาพักแรมในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา 4) เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพของธุรกิจโรงแรมในการรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติของจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา และ 5) เพื่อกำหนดแนวทางการพัฒนามาตรฐานอารยสถาปัตย์ของโรงแรม เพื่อรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ คือ แบบสำรวจ และแบบสอบถามใช้กับกลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติ รวม 400 คน และทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ด้วยการหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์ ความแปรปรวน (ANOVA) การวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยเป็นรายคู่ (Scheffe’s method) การวิเคราะห์การถอดถอยโลจิสติกส์ (Logistic regression analysis) และวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบ (Factor analysis) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเนื้อหา (Content analysis) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สถานภาพปัจจุบันของโรงแรมส่วนใหญ่มีการก่อสร้าง และติดตั้งอุปกรณ์เพื่อผู้สูงอายุแต่ยังขาดมาตรฐานอารยสถาปัตย์ พฤติกรรมการเลือกใช้บริการโรงแรมมีลักษณะใกล้เคียงกัน แต่นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการท่องเที่ยว เพื่อหาโอกาสที่ได้อยู่ร่วมกับลูกหลานในบรรยากาศใหม่ ๆ แต่นักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติมา เพื่อชมธรรมชาติและภูมิทัศน์ที่สวยงาม ความคาดหวัง และความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้บริการโรงแรมของนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุชาวไทย และชาวต่างชาติต่อส่วนประสมทางการตลาดบริการ พบว่า นักท่องเที่ยวได้ให้ระดับความคาดหวังและความพึงพอใจ ทั้งก่อนและหลังการใช้บริการ ไม่แตกต่างกัน ด้านมาตรฐานอารยสถาปัตย์ของโรงแรม เพื่อรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุ แบ่งได้ 2 เกณฑ์ คือ มาตรฐานอารยสถาปัตย์ของโรงแรม และมาตรฐานอารยสถาปัตย์ของรีสอร์ทและบูทีค สถานประกอบการสามารถเลือกใช้เกณฑ์ให้เหมาะสม กับโครงสร้างได้ตามความเหมาะสม เพื่อพัฒนาที่พักแรมในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ให้เป็นที่พักต้นแบบเพื่อรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวผู้สูงอายุที่ได้มาตรฐานต่อไป"

Abstract: The objectives of this research are five folds. Firstly, it aims to explore present status of hotels in Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya in terms of their services provided to Thai elderly tourists. Secondly, it focuses on studying all the visitors’ behaviors in choosing to stay in a hotel in the province. Thirdly, it analyzes the expectation and satisfaction of the visitors concerning the hotels’ services. Fourthly, it studies the potential of hotel business regarding its capacity to facilitate visitors in the province. Lastly, it aims to suggest and formulate ways to develop friendly design standard of the hotels to accommodate tourists in the province. This research used a survey form and a questionnaire for Thai and foreign elderly tourists. The tourists under the study included a total of 400 samples. The quantitative analysis features descriptive statistics based on percentage, average, standard deviation, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Scheffe’s method, logistic regression analysis and factor analysis. Whereas qualitative research method utilized in-depth interview and content analysis was used to interpret the findings. The results of the research present the fact that, in terms of the hotels’ present status, most of them already built and installed equipments to accommodate the elderly even though it lacks Universal Design Standard. The visitors’ behavior was found that there were similar characteristics. Thai tourists travelled because they would like to be with their children in a new place, but the foreign ones would like to admire beautiful nature and landscapes. In terms of the expectation and satisfaction on the services of the hotels for Thai and foreign tourists in relation to marketing mix, it was found out that Thai and foreign visitors provided similar expectation and satisfaction both before and after using hotel services. Concerning the Universal design standard of the hotel, it can be categorized into the hotel standard and resort and boutique standard. It depends on each hotel to select what suits its structure in order to develop itself as a role model accommodation for elderly tourists in Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya."
