Abstract:
The objective of this industrial research project is to improve the quality ofrotary blades product model european L-shaped type and to focus on the developmentof the process and appropriate specific requirement of the product. After studied about theprocess of rotary blade production, standard time, efficiency of line production, factorycost per piece and problem arising in the production process in a factory, it was found outthat the efficiency of the line production is 70.27 percents of standard time equal to131 second per piece and factory cost is 28.97 baht per piece and drop forge of bladesprocess could not meet some specific requirement. The researcher has applied theory ofindustrial engineering, political economy engineering and statistics for engineering to analyzeand solve the problem, to improve the process. The results obtained can be concluded asfollows: thickness of blades meet the requirement, 4 operation steps can be reduced, thetransportation between work stations can be reduced 2 times or about 232 meters, nodelay is needed, new standard time is 100 second per piece, efficiency of line productionincreases to 80.52 percents, factory cost is reduced to 27.73 baht per piece and the totalcost can be saved about 723,397 baht per year.
