Abstract:
This thesis is the study of the equations of motion of the mathematical model of arolling railway wheelsets by using the numerical method, Runge-Kutta method, to showthe relations of lateral deviation with control parameters. The dynamics of the wheelsetshows the behavior of the lateral deviation with respect to time and the relationsbetween the lateral deviation and its velocity. The influences of spring constant to thebehavior of the lateral deviation are presented. Moreover, the continuation techniqueshave been studied for determining the generic bifurcation problem.
