A Model Of Instructional Management Towards Sufficiency Economy Philosophy In Basic Schools Under The Jurisdiction Of Roi-Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 3
Abstract:
This research aimed 1) to study and identify current situation and existing of instructional management towards the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in primary schools under a jurisdiction of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area office 3; 2) to create a model of instructional management towards the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for primary schools under the jurisdiction of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area office 3; and 3) to evaluate the developed model. The samples consists 327 school administrators and teachers in basic schools under the jurisdiction of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area 3, 12 focus group experts, and 211 purposive sampling model evaluators of the developed model. Research instruments composed of survey questionnaire, semi-structured interview, and evaluation form. Statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, content analysis, conclusion, and frequency of individual interviewee.
The findings revealed that
1. Overall current situation and existing of instructional management towards the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Basic Schools under the jurisdiction of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area office 3 were at high level in all aspects, as follows: aspect of organizing, aspect of reporting, aspect of directing, aspect of planning, aspect of personnel administration, aspect of coordinating, and aspect of budgeting, respectively.
2. A model of instructional management towards the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Basic Schools under the Jurisdiction of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area office 3 composes of 7 components, as follows: 1) learning activity setting according to needs of students and local community, 2) appropriate chain of commands, 3) personnel development, 4) learning activity directing, 5) encouraging of coordination among school, local community and other organizations, 6) evaluation and monitoring of work performance, and 7) budgeting management and planning.
3. The developed model of instructional management towards the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Basic Schools under the Jurisdiction of Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area office 3, as evaluated by the school administrators, was at a high level in terms of accuracy propriety, and fessibility.
