An Expected Characteristic Of School Administrators As Perceived By Teachers Under The Naduang Educational Quality Group, Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 1
Abstract:
This research aimed to study an expected characteristic of school administrators as perceived by teachers under Naduang Educational Quality Group, Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and compare their opinion according to their work experience. Population included all teachers under the Naduang Educational Quality Group, Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. A 5-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of .95 was applied for data collection. The data were analyzed by computer in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test.
The results revealed as follows:
1. The teachers opinion in overall was at a high level (µ = 3.66, = .32), also found at high level in all aspects. The highest mean aspect was human relations (µ = 3.79, = .42), followed by morality and ethics (µ = 3.71, = .38). The lowest mean aspect was a personality (µ = 3.52, = .49).
2. Work experience had influence on their opinion concerning the expected characteristic of school administrators in the Naduang Educational Quality Group at .01 level of significance.
