Abstract:
This research aimed to study academic management competencies of school Administrator administrator under a jurisdiction of Ubonratchathani Primary Educational Services Area Office 5. Samples consisted 46 teachers who had teaching experience less than 10 years (56.1%) and 36 teachers who had teaching experience more than 10 years (43.9%), by simple random sampling using the formula of Krejcie; & Morgan. A 5-rating scale questionnaire was used for gathering data. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test.
Findings revealed that
1. Academic management competencies of the school administrators under the Ubonratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5 were at high level ( = 4.10). Considering on each aspect found at high level, ranging from high to low: learning management ( = 4.16), supervision for learning ( = 4.09), curriculum development ( = 4.08), and supporting research for learning management ( = 4.06), respectively.
2. Teaching experience had no influence on the teachers opinion concerning the academic management competencies of the school administrators under the Ubonratchathani primary Educational Service Area Office 5.
