Abstract:
he objectives of this research were to study the adult students' attitudes and problem towards learning computer courses through distance learning and to compare the satisfaction and problem of early secondary school students versus high school students. This research used a questiorxmire as the research tool. Five hundred and six adult students who registered to study through distance learning in the non-formal education centers in Bangkok Metropolis were selected to collect the data The data was analyzed by using percentage, standard deviation, and 2-test. The result of the research found that most of the respondents used the computer for typing. The respondents studied the computer subjects because they were usell for their daily-life and one of the requirements for getting a job. Most of the respondents preferred to study the Introduction to Computer Course, and between 9.00 to 12.00 an, it was the best time to study the courses. They would like to know the score after each test in order to improve themselves. The adult students' satisfactions were the center providing a computer class, learning computer, teacher's attention in classes, modem software, examination method, and computer software taught in the center. The students' learning problems were in the middle level for all 7 areas : learners, classes, content, equipment, program, document, and teaching activity. The results of the comparison of satisfaction showed that there was no significant difference. The results of the comparison of problem showed ht there was highly significant difference in computer software and teaching activity. There was significant difference in learners and document.
