Abstract: The purpose of this research is to study the, factors that influence the choice of services on the Internet among the undergraduate students. This paper also covers the opinions that the students have on the benefits of using the Internet, the different purposes of using the Internet, as well as the various problems and difficulties in using an Internet. The collected dab were about 1 month. A questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data. The questio~aires were distributed to several places. 1000 questionnaires were collected and they were interpreted into graph, table for data analysis. Using the percentage value did the analysis, average value, standard deviation, chi-square and cramer's V to analyse the relationship between the variables. This analysis is accompanied by a descriptive report. The purpose of this research is as follows: 1. To study the factor that influences the choice of services on the Internet among the undergraduate students. 2. To study the opinions that the students have on the benefits of using the Internet. 3. To study the different purposed of using the Internet. 4. To study the various problems and difficulties in using the Internet. Frcm the research done, we can conclude that: 1. The factor that influence the choice of services on the Internet among the undergraduate student are age, sex, level of education, average income, time spent on using the Internet, downloading speed of the website2. Among the various services offered on the Internet, WWW is the most popuiw followed by e-mail, data downioading and software downloading. 3. Most of the answers from the questionnaires show that the purposes of using the Internet can be categorized in descending order of preference as follows: - Searching for general information - Education - Entertainment - Others 4. Most of the undergraduate students thought that they have a high level of problem and difficulties in using the Internet, which can be further classified as follows: 1. General problem and difficulty - Low communication speed - High cost of using the Internet 2. Problems in educational institutions,- Limited availability of computers - Low speed computer network - Low speed computers - Low quality of service 3. Problem in homes - Bad services offered by ISPs - Hardware limitation - Status of ISP companies is not stable
