Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) study demographic factors that influence competency of employees in their work performance; 2) study the development of human resource that influences competency of employee in their work performance; 3) to study enhancement of Thailand industry 4.0 that influences competency of employees in their work performance; and 4) study all results and provide an approach of the competency development of human resource for Thailand 4.0 in order to enhance Thailand industry 4.0. The data collection methods were questionnaire and interview. The data were analyzed by statistical package. The results of this research revealed demographic factors of 330 respondents were males, aged between 20 25 years, gradated high school degree, and 2-year work experience. The differences in age, career and work experience had an influence on employees competency. The result of this research used by Stepwise multiple linear regression to find out relationship between human resource enhancement and factors influencing employees competency also showed that skillfulness and logical thinking of the employees explained how the competency influenced the work performance. The results of industry enhancement influencing on employees competency showed that factors concerning Industry 4.0: Humans, Digital City (Internet Of Things), Cyber-physical Production, Intelligent Robotic and Automation, Green Energy Age, and Advance Technology had an influence on competency development of human resource to upgrade for Industry 4.0 in Thailand.
