The Comparison of the Expectation and the Reality When Studying the Main Courses of the Student Majoring in Computer Science at the Rajabhat Institutes Western Section
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to study and to compare the expectation and the reality when studying the main courses of the student majoring in computer science at the Rajabhat Institutes western section. The population of this study was the student majoring in computer science at the Rajabhat Institutes western section. The sample for this study was 321 students majoring in computer science at the Rajabhat Institutes Petchaburi, Moobanjombung, Nakhonpatom and Kanchanaburi The instrument used was the questionnaire intended to measure the expectation and the reality in five areas which are; the instructors, subject matters, learning activities, instruction medium, and facilities. The data then was analyzed by using the percentage, the mean average, the standard error of the mean, and t-test. The result of the study was concluded as follow: 1. The expectation of the student were high in all five areas and in the reality, the expectation of student were highly met in all areas but one which was instruction medium was average met. 2. The comparison of the difference between the expectation and the reality was found to be significant difference at p=. 01 in all area.
