Abstract: Information System for credit auditing has been developed to audit financial data. The auditors have to audit by credit reports from branches and Computer Department. The number of staff does not correspond well to the increasing number of branches and credit banking. This thus affects the time limit on credit auditing. The project is set to help auditors retrieve and print out relevant data when decision making is necessary. This, in turn, helps reduce expenses and time. Information System for credit auditing is developed on Personal Computer, using Microsoft Access to process a program and prototype. Tested data were the actual customers' balances. The system consists of three main features : conversion from operational reports (received from Computer Department) to acceptable database format, presentation of information (both on a computer monitor and as a hard copy), and system support. The development system enables rapid access of informations, which in turn enables auditors to analyse information prior to actual auditing. Reports, scrutinized by auditors, can also aid the administrator in decision making.
