Abstract:
The purpose of this study was twofold. First, it aimed at examining a level of public satisfaction towards public service on basic infrastructure provided by Khao Samsip Sub-district Administrative Organization, Amphoe Khao Chakan, Sa Kaeo Province. Also, this study attempted to compare the level of public satisfaction towards public service on basic infrastructure provided by Khao Samsip Sub-district Administrative Organizationas classified by gender, age, marital status, educational level, occupation, amount of monthly income, residential area, and length of residency. The subjects participating in this study were 367 residents of Khao Samsip Sub-district, Amphoe Khao Chagan, Sa Kaeo Province. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The descriptive statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency, percentage, means, and standard deviation. Also, the inferential statistics, including the tests of t-test, One-way ANOVA, were administered. To test the differences between pairs, the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) was used. The results of the study revealed that the level of public satisfaction towards public service on basic infrastructure provided by Khao Samsip Sub-district Administrative Organization was found at a high level.Specifically, they were satisfied with public roads at the highest level, followed by the satisfaction towards public electricity and running water, respectively.Finally, it was shown that there were statistically significant differences in the level of public satisfaction towards public service on basic infrastructure provided by Khao Samsip Sub-district Administrative Organization among the subjects with different educational level, and residential area at a significant level of .01.
