Abstract: Thc purposcs of this rcscarch wcrc Lo study thc status and ways of accidcnt prcvcntivcin t11c workshop of industrial school studcnts in North-Eastcrn rcgion of Thailand.Thc slalus was dividcd into G aspects : (a) thc status of using mcchanical tools and laboratoryequipmcnts, (b) thc status of training arca managcmcnt, (c) thc status of mcchanical tools andlaboratory cquipmcnts managcmcnt, (d) the status of ventilation, (e) the status of lighting and(f) Lhc status of sound.Thc samplcs of this rcsearch were 200 industrial tcachers and 503 industrial studcnts.Thc samplcs wcre chosen by stratified sampling. Thc rcscarch instrument was thcqucstionnairc, and thc SPSSIFW programme was uscd as the mcthod of data proccssing. Thcdata wcrc analyscd by the pcrcentagc, the mean, standard deviation, t-test, onc way ANOVAand Komogorov - Smirnov Onc - Samplc Tcst.Thc findings of the rescarch werc as follows :1. In the aspcct of tcachers' status and gcneral information, it was found that most ofthc tcachcrs wcrc Bachclor Dcgrcc graduates (professional B.Ed.) who have students bctwcen16-20 pcr group. They werc at 58.7 %2. Thc most studeills of thc samplcs werc male and study in the rcgular scssioil ofindustrial school at auto machanic workshop. They were 17-19 ycars old. Thcy wcrc at58.7 %3. According to thc lcachcr; and studcnts' opinion, status of safety at 6 aspects inLhc workshop wcrc in lhe madium lcvcl. (students z = 3.36, S.D. = 0.87) (tcachers y= 2.89,S.D. = 0.69) But whcn thcy werc considcrcd scpcralely, it was found that the status of soundwas thc most scrious casc. And both of tcachers and student; opinion were agrccablc.(studcnls x = 3.19, S.D. = 0.87) (Lcachers = 3.24, S.D. = 0.83)4. According to thc tcachcrs' opinion, ways of accidcnt preventive in the workshop ofinduslrial school studcnts wcrc in the ~ncdium lcvcl. But whcn thcy wcrc considcrcdscpcralcly, it was found Lhat lhe slatus of sound was Lhc most scrious casc. ( z = 3.28,S.D. = 0.96)5. According to the lcachcrs' and studcnts' opinion, freclucncy rate of accidenthappening of sludcnls in thc workshop is 1-5 timc pcr month that is impact objects or fixcdmacllincs, the studcnts wcrc at 45.86 % and thc Lcachers wcrc at 46.86 %.6. In comparing thc teachcr; opinion about thc personal status and thc status in thcworkshop of i~ltlustrials ludcnts in North-Eastern region in 6 aspects, it was revcaled that thclcachcrs who had bccn taught at dilfcrcnt school and diffcrcnl teaching expcricnccs insistedthe slatus was not difkrcnt.7. In comparing Lhc studcnts' opinion about thc personal status and thc status in lhcworkshop of induslrial students in North- Eastern region in 6 aspects, it was revcalcd that thestudcnls who lcarncd at Auto Machanics workshop and Welding workshop insistcd the statusol thc training arca in Lhe workshop morc than the studcnts who lcarn at Machine and Fittingworkshop. And thc sludcnls who lcarncd at Machanical workshop and Wclding workshopi~lsistcdt hc status ol sound more Lhan thc sludents who lcarned at Auto Machanic workshopand Machine and Fitting workshop.
