Abstract:
The study aimed to compare the scientific calculation skills 1) before and after learning
by using techniques combined with Think-Pair-Share and Play-Game, 2) before and after learning
by setting up a conventional classroom, and 3) between the trail of learning management in groups
by Think-Pair-Share combined with Play-Game techniques, and the Control group with the
conventional classroom management.
The samples consist of the 3rd secondary education students of Suankularbwittayalai
Nonthaburi School during the 2nd Semester of Academic year 2017. One hundred students were
selected randomly and divided into two groups. They were 50 cases for the Experiment group and
50 cases for the Control group. The instruments consist of the learning management plan by Think-
Pair-Share combined with Play-Game techniques, the conventional classroom management plans,
and the skill Tests before and after class. The statistical analysis for the data consists of Means,
Standard Deviations, and t-test. (ไม่สามารถใส่ใน Rep จะขึ้น ERROR)
The results revealed that 1) the scientific calculation skills after class, by combining
Think-Pair-Share with Play-Game were significantly higher than before class at the level of 0.05,
2) the scientific calculation skills after class by conventional classroom management were
significantly higher than before class at the level of 0.05, and 3) the test results of the scientific
calculation skills with the experiment group by Think-Pair-Share and Play-Game techniques were
significantly higher than the Control group at the level of 0.05.
