Abstract:
This special research is the study of job satisfaction of six participants in Thailandbuilding construction; project owner (client), company owner or project manager, projectengineer, engineer, foreman and craftman. The value of each selected project is worth more thanone hundred million baht. The main researchs objective is to define the relationship ofparticipant satisfaction factors and measure the job satisfaction of each participant in buildingconstruction. We expected that the result of this research would give some clues to develop therelationship of teamwork and increase efficiency in successful building construction project.Furthermore, the research shows that the six participants in Thailand building construction payattention on major satisfaction factors in the same direction based on data analysis by a one-wayanalysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), the multiple comparison (least significance differencemethod : LSD) and finding confidence intervals of each seven satisfaction factor means at 0.05level of significance. Through the analysis of data generated by the survey, its concluded that 95percent of all participants in building construction firstly pay attention on quality of work,budget control & cost and time as a result of equal means from multiple comparison analysis.Secondly, they look at owner/user satisfaction factor. Relationship & communication is the thirdfactor. Finally, pride of construction and environment are the last significant factors because themultiple comparison also shows the equal means. The survey also shows that the overall jobsatisfaction is at high level since the means score is 76.33 out of 100 total scores.
