Abstract:
The study aimed at designing and constructing a set fo tools fordeep drawing rectangular stainless steel box which has the dimension of 40x80x30 mm. The newly-invented tool was tested for its deep drawing on imbalance-flow material by comparingusage without drawbead and those with drawbead at the theoretially recommended position of 25 mm. Moreover, the studytried to analyse the influences of different drawbead positionfrom the die edge ranging from 20,25,30,35, and 45 mm. Respectively upon punch force, blank holder force, product depth, product thickness and product quality obtained from observation of the wrinkle occurred.The results of the sutudy revealed that the deep drawing effectswithout drawbead upon punch force, blank holder force and product depth were lower than the deppdeawing effects with the deawbead at 25 mm. position, but the thickness was higher. The deep drawing with various drawbead position have different effects upon punch force, blank holder force, product depth andproduct thickness. When the drawbead position is increased, the punch force, the thickness and depth of product will also be increased. But the blank holder fore will be decreased.
