Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to analyze Influences of Chinese Trade and Major
Macroeconomics Variables of Myanmar. This research applied ARDL time series model
including Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) unit root test in order to check the data are
stationary or not. This study also investigated bound test, the long run co-integration and
error correction mechanism for the short run among variables by using the ARDL approach
for co-integration. The variables of this research are trade openness (TO), foreign direct
investment (FDI), employment (EMP), capital stock (K) and gross domestic product
(GDP) from 1989-90 to 2014-2015. The result of this study may provide some useful
information to policy-maker to implement a more reasonable policies, rules and
regulations, objectives, and aims for the economic development of Myanmar.
