Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study on computer science program at the bachelorsdegree in science level in Rajabhat Institutes. This study was used CIPP model to evaluate thecurriculum and instruction management of computer science program. The survey was used fordata collection from four groups of samples : 79 computer instructors, 384 senior computerscience students ,229 computer science graduates and 93 their superiors. The questionnaires forsurvey instructional supporting materials, texts and classrooms and the questionnaires forcontext, input, process and product of this program were used to collect data. The statisticspercentage, standard deviation, One-Way ANOVA and Scheffe'e were used for data analysis.The research result indicated as follow :1. Context evaluation : The curriculum objectives should assign for increasing computerpeopleware abilities for graduates. The curriculum structure was suitable now. The generaleducation subjects should modify contents to be more modem, modify contents corresponding totheir credits and basic background knowledge of the students. The major subjects should modifycontents corresponding to their credits and basic background knowledge of the students.2. Input evaluation : The computer instructors should increase in this area, develop theirknowledge for better instructors and for useful knowledge to their students. According tostudents as input, they should improve knowing cumculum objectives, they knew cumculumstructure, they had the same level of basic background knowledge, their interest in learning andtheir learning ability were rated at very good. According to instructional supporting materials,texts and classrooms, instructional supporting materials should develop to be more modem andcorresponding to current learning and students'needs, texts should develop corresponding tocurrent learning and students needs, classrooms should develop corresponding to the bestlearning and students'needs.3. Process evaluation : It should develop computer instructors in preparing contentsbefore they are going to instruct. The instruction management should be student center. It shoulddevelop instructional supporting materials to be modem and corresponding to students' interestfor quality instruction management of instructors.4. Product evaluation : According to knowledge and ability of graduates, they should bedeveloped in computer language hlfilling the organization needs. The working efficiencies ofgraduates, they should be developed in their working accuracy and working discipline. Thepersonality of graduates, they should be developed to be active and self-confident.
