Abstract:
The objective of this research was to study the relationship between motivation and organizational commitment of employee Takei plastic (Thailand) Company Limited, classified by the personal factors. The population was 269 personnel and the sample used for this research was 161 personnel. The tool for the data collection was the questionnaire and the reliability was 0.96 for the motivation and 0.93 for the commitment to organization. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, average, standard deviation values and Pearsons product-moment correlation.The research result was found that the working motivation of the employees was entirely at the high level. For each aspect, the security was at the high level with the highest average and the relationship with other personnel was also at the high level with the second highest average, but the advancement was at the fair level with the lowest average. The commitment to work with the organization of the employees was entirely at the high level. For each aspect, the willingness to use most effort for the organizational profitability was at the high level with the highest average and the forceful effort to maintain the organizational membership was also at the high level with the lowest average. From the relationship analysis between motivation and organizational commitments of employee Takei Plastic (Thailand) Company Limited using the statistically significant level at 0.01, the result was found that the working condition and the security had the highly positive relationship to the commitments to work. The achievement, the work itself, the relationship with other personnel, the salary and the compensation, and the quality of life had the fairly positive relationship to the commitments to work. Finally, the recognition, the responsibility, the advancement, the company policy and the administration, and direction had the poorly positive relationship to the commitments to work.
